320 Primitive Acres connected to Sabinoso Wilderness 

East of Las Vegas NM in San Miguel county lays  millions of acres of beautiful ranch country and within that lies 29,855 acres known as the Sabinoso Wilderness bought in 2009 and owned by the Bureau of Land Management as pure as can be in this day and time.  We offer 320 acres of native land connecting to the Sabinoso Wilderness on 3 sides (north, east and south)  giving landowners access to thousands of acres the public are unable to access due to logistics of deep canyons and steep-sided mesas. 

The elevation is from 4500' to 6000' and area is considered semi-arid with 16 to 18 inches precipitation annually.   Live springs are found in the bottom of the canyon providing year round water for wildlife and livestock.  Pinon pine, juniper and occasional cottonwood trees provide shade and protection throughout the canyon.   

The 320 acres private land has seasonal water in the canyon floor.  Access is from private easement across the Canadian River on the northeast side near the old settlement known as Sabinoso and through Canyon Largo on a rarely used private road/trail or you can access it via the higher elevation areas through the Wilderness by horseback or hiking.  This land is for the true outdoorsman who doesn't mind primative accomodations but appreciates rare beauty and privacy. 

Canyon Largo has had cattle grazing the land for many years and on these 320 acres is a long forgotten portion of a 2 room rock structure from days gone by probably used by those overseeing the livestock during summer months.
